Its not an out and out Aqua palm like Reusch aqua keeper and Selsport Aqua7 palm. Adhesion Ultra is just a top end palm designed for all condiditons.
The Aqua name in the glove is to means the water repelant lining of the glove. Like the Sub Zero glove which has a fleece lining. Other than that they are the same glove.
I know that, still its ment to be used in the wet, shouldn't be complaining about the "aqua" version, even tho there is a minimal difference. Its about the glove as a whole and it does what its ment to, grip in the wet, if we were just judgeing the latex i wouldnt add it.
I've never had a problem with Ultra in dry weather. If anything I find it grips too well at times. If I dont keep it damp enough it flakes quickly on hard surfaces, but I dampen them before match and half time and find that is ideal. I just spit on em through the match/training too, but I do that with all my gloves. Just a habit.
I can't say I've had a problem with AU in the dry either, I think it is a great latex. I also found the durability to be decent aswell. Barely any marks on my Contact Evo's
Dida still needs a team! lol
Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!
Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.
I voted yes. I think that the wrap glove is Sells flagship glove and is uniquely British and tailored to conditions there. I haven't used the adhesion latex but from what I hear it is excellent and up there with the top end latexes.
Congratulations to the Sells Adhesion Ultra Wrap Aqua. It is the first glove inducted into the TGB Glove Hall of Fame.
