hi guys just want opinions need a firm ground boot for firm pitches and training on astro turf main contenders are the puma v konstrukt and the puma king

love the look of the new kings but ive had v konstrukts before and have been excellent

brilliant for striking the ball what would u go for thanks james

I prefer a more traditional boot so my choice would be the King.

thanks jmpfaff i was just worried bout the connection i will get on the ball because the v kon has off centre lacing and striking the ball is excellent would i get the same with the kings

I have both of these boots and I have to say that I see very little difference. Both great boots.

I would go for the Kings, only because I prefer a classic look. I wouldn't worry so much about the off-center lacing as long as you have good technique it shouldn't matter anyways.

thanks for response so far, i prefer the kings because of the traditional look. liviubird do they feel like world cups, ive had them and my kicking was fine proberbly the best its ever been . its just always had better feel for the ball off the v konstrukts. And i occasionally play outfield for a second team so i want a boot that would suit both.

I've never had a pair of World Cups, so I couldn't tell you. But I do think the touch on both boots is nice. They're both solid, and you can't really make a wrong choice here in my opinion.

Boots are very much like gloves.  For field players, boots are their equipment, which is why everyone has so many different styles.  if you find the touch better on the V construct i'd stick with that.
