Hi, does anyone have pics or info on the orange Adidas glove and the white and black Adidas Equipment gloves that Seaman wore for a couple of years ?.  I used to play against a lad who often trained at Arsenal and wore these gloves......I can't remember ever seeing them for sale.

Thanks all.

Chris

Hi Chris

I had a pair of the orange roll finger gloves when i was about 13, they were rubbish.

The two middle fingers were made of super soft and the rest of the glove was quite hard smooth latex. Not one of my favourites.

I paid £25 of them back in the day.

Dano, i am with you on this. I too had a pair (bought from the great Sukan Sports) and can confirm that they were an awful glove.

Its not where your from, its where your at!

Didn't he wear these shockers? There's a few nasty fluorescent Adidas gloves from that time in the excellent Sukan brochures in the Media section.

They are the SHOCKERS in question !!!!!!

I had a Sondico rainbow shirt with matching padding on the shorts and these gloves.

The attack had no chance, they were either blinded by the colours or laughing there heads off !!!!!!

Then Umbro stitched him up with the infamous 'packet of Refreshers' kit. See how gutted he is on this picture -even the class gloves can't cheer him up. Didn't Southall once refuse to wear a lousy kit and wore plain black instead?

I know he wore a shocking umbro shirt around the mid 90's, like pink and bright green and other colours. But he also wore all black for Everton in the 95 season i think so might of been then?

Talking of terrible shirts i used to have this in bright pink with bright yellow sleeves!

In one of Southall's books he said that he likes a plain dark coloured shirt I think. He did not like the all yellow kit he wore in the FA Cup final in 95 but had no choice to wear it as Umbro were launching it during that game. Following season if he had to wear it he would wear it with black shorts and sox.
