Haha, I probably would be too!

Goalkeeping is not just a position on the field, it is a way of life, it is an attitude on and off the field.

i now have got them on order from christmas instead. how would you say the grip is to the uhlsport aqua gloves ? i also have the aqua moulded palm gloves. very good grip and nice feelof the ball aswell.

i also really like the dutch design. wish they had a competition like that in england. would love to see some of the designs people from the glove bag would come up with Stick out tongue

have used them I guess around 25 times in trainning/matches,  best gloves I've ever wornStick out tongue

Conditions mostly dry or light rain, couple of trainning sessions when fairly muddy- held up well, and two games in constant downpour they were great. The grip has been very consistent in all conditions.

All of the wrappas used have been great durabilty wise, think they are a good match glove for another 5-6 matches, then will just use to train.

(If its Extreme muddy conditions, I would use an older pair,  I lost a relatively new pair of Eurowraps in action last season, that never recovered from such a matchSad)

a testament to TGB:

this weekend i played an away game and for once it was sunny and warm. the pitch was dry and pretty sandy, although the surface was nice enough. the worst problem though, was the matchball! it was very slippery and hard to grip.

i tried both my selsport wrappa evolve and ultraflex, but neither of them had any effect on the ball. i've never experienced anything like this before in the dry, but i ended up changing to the third glove in my bag, the reusch duo pro bowl. they performed quite well, but i still wanted more!

half time i realised i had a pair of aqua wrappas in my bag, only worn once and i had been saving them for a rainy day - pun intended. remembering how much DK loved them in the dry as well as wet, i stuck them on for the second half. they felt instantly tacky even with only a little spit to moisten them, and they gripped like glue for the whole of the 2nd half.

best thing about them though - no visible wear even on a dry sandy pitch (and i was a very busy boy that day!)

thumbs up selsport - i think i'm gonna use these as my standard match glove from now on in wet or dry. saves the head work when considering the conditions!

TGB things frequently pass through my head during games, and certainly during training.

Same here, and similar to Cardiff I have been having trouble with match balls latley.

There is a local store doing a very good deal on Mitre Calcio's which are rock hard and do not grip too well, but near enough every team from our league has done the ten ball deal. When the proper match ball dissapears over a hedge or into a field (quite often!) one of these mitres are thrown onto the pitch! As soon as this happens I straight away switch to my TGB SMU's from last season. They grip most balls pretty well, so Ive played most of the season wearing these gloves which are wellover a year old now and still going strong!

I might have to invest in some aqua wrappa's.

Had a few pairs of the older version and loved them, which had a slightly thinner palm by the looks.

the absorb version has a fanastic fit too. although it has a flex cut palm, the cuts are by far the best i have seen. the glove is really flexible right out of the packet.
