MarkDarceyno1: i did mean they were expensive i think this thread is a bit confusing but reusch ARE over expensive
Agreed!
Dida still needs a team! lol
Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!
Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.
I'm not saying there aren't alternatives out there but it's not like Reusch is price gouging customers. If the price of their gloves goes up it's because they are paying more to make them. Yes there are other companies making cheaper products but it can be cheaper because of several different factors. Sharing of materials, factories, etc are ways to create products without much overhead.
Just pointing out that prices aren't going to go down anytime soon.
we'll have to agree to disagree rcpunt, in my opinion reusch have (like uhlsport) been consistently overpriced for the last 2 seasons.
I am in complete agreement with that statement
Dida01: Oh dear, Reusch gloves aren't expensive as it is. I think this is suicidal for the company if they decide to keep prices at that price. I have never paid full price for a Reusch glove and it doesn't look like I will anytime soon. Disappointing to see....

Edit: I have just been told there is a typo lol cheers Justin. Sorry guys I wondered why i being misunderstood. 'Reusch gloves aren't expensive as it is' is meant to say 'As if Reusch gloves arent expensive enough as it is'
Sorry guys, I keep mistyping things recently, cn an-e off u tail? lol
im going to have to agree with the general over pricing, bought a pair of the goaliator ortho tecs and they cost me 120 us, and although i didnt have to pay for them (my club covers the cost of my gloves ) its still extremely expensive, can get a pair of puma or Ho for half the price at the same quality....
Somewhere in there the grace of a ballet dancer joins with the strength of an SAS squaddie, the dignity of an ancient kind, the nerve of a bomb disposal officer [on being a goalkeeper] -Eamonn Dunphy
Check. I'm not saying they are not expensive just sorta explaining why they are as such.
Some of the new Reusch 2009 range is available on the Reusch USA website, and at least there are a few photos of the designs and some idea on pricing.

Also quite a good review of the three new lines is here.

Liking the sounds of the "Core Line" - Reusch going back to basics after a few years of some crazy colours!

loving this new line, especially the Reusch Seria A III X1 and the Reusch Bundesliga G1
Im really like those Serie A's. I always had a problem with Reusch, because they don't do a half-wrap on the thumb. I know it's a small thing, but it is a deal breaker. I think I may give these a go if the price is right.
Stevie...All of these have a half wrapped thumb. Is that why you are giving them a go now?
I'm still on the fence. I do like the updates but there is something that is throwing me off. I can't put my finger on it right now.
woah a really different look from Reusch. Looks like we dont have chance of ever seeing the famous arrow again which is a shame.
At the moment i a bit unsure but im sure over time and when i see a few keepers wearing them il get used to them.
