hey beachboi how do u find the HO Protek R-Negative?How's it compared to the 2005 model of HO Protek R-Negative (the one with thumb protection)?
I actually havnt gotten a chance to use them yet. Im saving them for the time when i have a finger injury and need the added protection. Overall the fit is just alright for me. The thumb gould use a half wrap because it fits a little sloppy to me.
I find that the seems on the inside hurt somtimes if you get a hard shot drilled at you.
If you're feeling the seams on an R-Negative cut you are wearing the glove too small. It should not fit as snug as a normal negative cut.
Just my own opinion, i feel that non fingersave negative cut gloves gives the least protection compared to other cuts.What you guys think?
i'd probably agree that i feel less protected wearing neg cut gloves, particularly because they tend to be built with much lighter materials. they're often promoted as lightweight gloves and this, in my experience, can give the keeper a feeling of being somewhat exposed.
the same goes for short sleeved shirts in my opinion.
Yea same here. I've actually twisted my finger before when wearing neg cut gloves. I've been sticking to roll finger.

lol yh theyre retired now just bin using them for 5 a side recently one of the best gloves ive had for that price recommended!!!
I agree, I love my Phantoms. It's been a little too hot for them this summer in NY - Phantoms really aren't the glove I want to wear when it's over 90 degrees, but once it cools down a little I will go back to them. I've only worn them in 3 games so there is still lots of life left in them.
Whats the fit like of those new custom gloves ? I really like the look of them !

The JK custom glove is a very good glove at first try. Great fit, good padding, and latex, and very comfortable. It will not be for everyone, but it is a high quality glove.
