To keep this site the way it is going, I just want to post a couple of guidelines for new and existing users. Some of these have been posted before but over time, people forget, which is cool because I forget things all of the time (more to old age than anything else but hey Tongue Tied).

I have had to delete quite a few posts for various reasons lately but if you read this below, then any "mis-understanding" should be avoided .

  • Please respect the views of others. Of course you can disagree with their views but if you need to post a reply, do it in a respectful way.
  • If you are negotiating trades, sales etc, then please use Private messages or Email.
  • Please try and use proper English when posting. I know you youngsters (Yes I know I sound like my father Huh?) like to abbreviate everything but the forums on here are not an SMS service. We will not charge you by the amount of letters you type, you can type the whole word as it was originally designed!
  • Please re-read your post before hitting the post button. I deleted a post this morning that just did not make sense. I could not even begin to tell you what it was about.

Thanks for listening.

Time to respost this. We do not have many rules but we are very particular about the ones we do have.

One other addition ....

  • Please make sure your posts are as interesting and/or relavant to what this site is about (all things goalkeeping) as possible. I am sorry but a post asking what gloves to wear in a team photo is, IMHO, neither of those. Thanks.
