this is sort of a mini review by me after giving these gloves there Debut last night 15/11/07 After a minor pre wash (and I mean Minor) I started the game with my new gloves and the Grip was excellent from the start, in the past I have always found some grips take time to get going but these were excellent right from the start. Some of you might think that paying £43 pounds, you would expect the Grip the be good right from the off, but im only going from personal experence. In Terms of comfort, I cant fault them, the closure on the wrist band is great as the soft feel against your skin makes up for the fact that I have thin wrists and have to fold over the wristbands on certain gloves. The Pre-curve is just right aswell, some gloves have too much of a pre curve on them and at times you find yourself fighting with it to keep a straight hand, or is it just me who has this problem!? Then again you might think, why buy a pre curve glove when you want to keep a straight hand, the answer is I like Pre curve gloves. lol The Snug fit of the roll finger is a bonus, the only other glove that could come close to this was the old Reusch Serie A with the arrow backhand but with a different grip. With past Uhlsport Supersoft gloves I have found them a bit hit and miss, last seasons glove that Jussi Jaaskelainen I found the best (with the Yellow & Black backhand) was the best one I have had so far but in the coming games it will be a test to see how they hold up. They are absolutely gorgeous. I also love the JK Chimera SMU that Steffan Wessels wears. Dilly, I thought you were a Sells man?

i notice that this is the first uhlsport model in many gloves to have a fold over thumb (hope i have expressed myself correctly)

so do you guys that reckon that uhlsport supersoft latex is worth a shot at? cause i was unable to get myself a chimera absolutgrip flat palm at the shops i was shopping at the other day and was quite disappointed.

Supersoft palms definitely offer a longer and more consistent grip than Absolut.

Many Bundesliga Pros (e.g. Robert Enke) have SS on their palms as well.
