Yeah completely agree about the price, maybe they should have started cheaper and as more people recognised them higher the price.
I am a bit late replying to this one .. sorry!
Obviously im pleased with the results from the test but what has pleased me even more so is the positive comments made by all the other members! I do like to discuss glove matters at a personal level as this is how i have always liked to be dealt with myself. I hope to progress the range for the 2008-09 season even further and try to take on board everyones ideas and pointers that i have received.
Thanks to everyone at TGB for your support over the past year.
I've not tried either glove yet but just from the pictures the d-flekt looks like a much better constructed glove plus looking at their full range shows a bit of innovation rather than zapkams which seems like its just a copy of the more established brand.
wouldn't mind trying a few of the dflekts out to see how they compare with the brands like HO, Selsport or even Sondico.
Update....Received my Pro-GK's this past week. First impression is very good. The gloves fit well, and are quality made. I am going to use them this week, and will offer a full review later. Thanks to Pro-GK for getting in the game.
Thats good to hear they are a good company, i will do a full review on the revolution model once i have worn them a few more times.
Ok, Here is the last part of the challenge. I have been wearing the Pro-GK Revolution Super model for the last 2 weeks. The glove has done VERY well in my tests. In terms of grip, it is the best of the three (D-Flekt comes close, but Pro-GK edges in by a slight margin). Overall the fit is excellent, and the shock absorbtion is fantastic. It is as durable as any other SS glove, and is better than most as far as comfort.
I received the glove in an 8, and it fits perfectly, so you may want to order down a size if purchasing a pair. Two small issues. The lining on the inside of the glove was a bit slippery at first, and it caused my hand to move inside of the glove. Once I gave it a throurogh prewash, the problem dissapeared. The other issue was the velcro patch on the bandage closures stiching went, so I had to get my sewing kit out. All in all a great glove, and I have to be honest, I was very supprise indeed. Better than the Reusch Serie A for me, and pretty damn close to the TGB glove in terms of overall grip and comfort.
Here is how it shakes down for me. If money is no object I would buy the Pro-GK's without a second thought. I will say that I AM very price conscious, and would probably personally stick with the D-Flekt just because it is very very close to the Pro-GK in every catagory. All in all I think BOTH companies have a bright future, and BOTH offer a very good product. Thanks to all three for participating.
Been wearing mine for about 4-5 weeks now and they show little signs of wear and have held up brilliabtly in some shocking weather lately. Will definately buy again.
I got a pair of these and for the money i couldnt complain, now retired them for nike vapor grip 3's though, keep up the good work !
I have a question:
I saw this D-Flekt gloves and they look pretty good to me but I know also that is not all about how they look, the performance is more important.
So I want to ask wich of the D-Flekt model is the best and would they be affordable for me (I'm from Croatia)?
Here in Croatia we have pretty miserable offer. You have one model of the gloves for 10-15€ and one model for 70-...€...
Hi CrazyCroat, welcome to the forum. I have worn the D-Flekt Aquastar, and i can only say good things about it. the construction is very good and the grip is easily as good as any other manufacturers supersoft latex. in fact for £20 this glove outperforms some that cost over twice as much. it is also good in damp, wet and muddy conditions. if you decide to buy these, you will not be dissapointed.

Thank you very much for the information. Just one thing. If you have to rate from 1 to 10 for the durability and grip what grade it would be?
I currently have Nike Tiempo Match (15€ model), the grip is great but durability poor... The latex chips and peels too fast...
grip is superb, way better than the nike match model you have. it really is a pro quality grip. durability is very good, but to be honest technique and pitch / ball conditions can play a big part in glove wear. durability is as good as any other pro quality glove, better than some.
That's good to hear...
Do you have experience with reusch gloves maybe? I recently bought Reusch Club gloves but I'm very dissapointed with the grip of the gloves... My Nike Tiempo match (for 15€) have 5 times better grip...
Where can you get the PRO GK Gloves from?
