(my first review on here) I picked these up in a 9 as soon as they came in the sale for £25 on jk.

Cut: flat palm with a wrap thumb.

Fit: a pretty good fit, i take a 9 in sells and nike so i thought i'd just stick with the same and they fit perfect. quite a snug palm for a flat palm glove.

Latex: E6S/ES6 whatever you prefer to call it.

Features: soft 2 layer palm. Which is like internal latex but unlike my reusch duo ortho techs you cant actually feel it on your palm. Wrap thumb and climacool fabric in between fingers.

Availibility: www.justkeepers.com but only in a 7 or 12 ( as i am writing this post for £25) or www.great-save.co.uk who have all sizes from an 8-11 including half sizes, but at full price.

Review: i got these as i have always wanted to try a pair of the responses and have always loved the fingertips apart from i found the durability to be terrible on the fingertips. I used these for six games in spain so as you can imagine i havn't used them in anything other than very hot dry condition but i kept the palms moist and they gripped as well as contact and adhesion ultra foam in my opinion. i also think this is probably the best looking glove on the market for a number of years. i gave them 2 pre washes before i went and although the foam felt extremly hard before a wash they felt very soft after the pre washes.

Durability: i used these on artificial turf or field turf or 3d generation turf (as our manager called it) so as soon as a palm slid along the ground it would cut up but with these there is only minimal wear on them so i am very impressed with the durability.

Pro's:Cosmetics, price (as i got them in the sale), grip ,durability, fit everything really.

Con's: probably only the fact that the foam is very hard when you first get them so you have to pre wash them but that isn't really much of a con.

Rating's: out of 5

Dry grip: 5

Wet grip: n/a

Fit: 4

Cosmetics: 5

Value: 5 (in the sale)

Overall: 4.99

i would put this glove right up there with sells adhesion ultra aqua wrap and vapour grip 3 so i would strongly recommend this glove even though i dont generally like a flat palm glove.

Good review mate. The only point I'd offer a different view on is the sizing. I'm usually an 8, but found that a 9 fit me perfect! So I'd suggest going a size up. Then again, it might vary from person to person, so it would be best to check before anyone actually goes and buys one.

Yes, the same here.

I'm a 9 in Reusch and in Adidas gloves but a size 10, that I got on sale for € 32,50 at an Outlet Mall, fits me fine, so they do fit a size smaller. The only down side is that two weeks later they were € 25,00 in the same Adidas Outlet Store ...

Nice review Yes , by the way. Thanks for posting this, Luke29. Just keep them coming.

Have now had a refund and bought some Puma XL's Smile

Where abouts did they rip? Because I have found that the wrist is very tight on mine...

Dida still needs a team! lol

Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!

Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.

I'd have to say that the grip is really good on the second generation of this glove.  They've lasted me through two leagues, halfway through and the grip is holding up very well.  I have two versions of the glove though; the regular one that's blue/white with a flat palm cut and the Petr Cech version which is black/orange that is NC.

The flat cut seems to have a little better grip overall, but it also has a ripple pattern underneath the foam.  The durability is very good (although I play on a lot of natural grass fields at the moment, I have yet tried this on an artificial surface.)

The negative cut is something I prefer more, and it does not disappoint by any means.  I like how they felt when catching in my opinion compared to any of the other gloves in the adidas line.  The foam says E7S, but I'm unsure if its the same from the blue/white version.  It definitely does have a different feel to it.  I have yet to conclude if its due to the cut or if its different foam material though.

So with 6 matches with both of these gloves, the durability is really good.  There aren't any rips and I have washed these gloves after every match.
