The reason i want padded clothing is because i always train on astro turf of which is very hard and makes ground saves very uncomfortable.
rich: for many years i wanted unpadded trousers (as worn by many pro's like barthez and schmeichel) . padding is useful on very hard ground though. i have ended up taking padding out of many shirts and trousers in the past to make them more comfortable.

Just keepers have adidas Unpadded 3/4's and full length trousers now Rich. Im contemplating getting the 3/4's myself. They also have an adidas all in one suite which is unpadded here-

cool, thanks. i will get myself some 3/4 lengths for coaching i think. i really like 3/4 for training etc. i think they offer a good compromise between protection, warmth and comfort.
I alwyas wear 3/4's for coaching training. I want the adidas pair though as i think i would prefere an unpadded pair as i have taken to unpadded shorts for matches now.
