Had these gloves for a while, and thought I'd just post a review on them.
CUT: Flat palm with rolled index and pinky, and rolled over palm onto backhand
FIT: Got mine half a size big, and do fit snug around the fingers, but wrist strap feels akwardly big.
LATEX: 3mm Supersoft "PAG" grip (Power Advanced Grip)

REVIEW
Well to start off, before the Australian Pre Season had started I found these for $10 in a clearance basket in my local store Sportsco. I was very suprised and I thought for the price, I would have a look and try of Umbro gloves.
I am usually a size 9.5, and these were a 10. Out of the packet, they do fit snug around the hand and fingers, but upon the wrist-strap, it does feel abnormally big. They did come with a 2 point velcro fastening system, but to give them a better fit, I have sewed on a piece of velcro on each strap to give them a better feel...It just does help that little bit better.
I gave them one prewash, and not alot of chemicals/milky fluid came out. They took about 1 day to dry, which is pretty quick!
I decided to give them a go the day after at training. With the usual spit on the gloves, they really remind me on Nikes Contact Foam. The feel to them is exact in many ways, and really is "tacky". It does give good shock absorption, but on those really hard ones, you feel them a bit. The rolled index and pinky fingers do actually help with allround feel of the ball, and help with some absorption of them stinging shots.
So far have only used them for about 2 training sessions and 1 match, until I got injured and have not used them since.
DURABILITY
As unreal as it may seem, these gloves have suprised me in this department. The only abrasion of the gloves is a .005mm tiny hold to the thumb. which is barely noticable. I do think that glove wash does help with the drability with gloves, and i'm sure they have helped on these. Have been really suprised with the grip on these.
SUMMARY
A good glove for the price I paid! I know that they retail for about 18 pounds, $40 australian, and I do think that they are worth a shot. With good features (especially the grip), they certainly are a glove that should be tried! Not the best glove for them important matches though, but never the less, a great glove for the price,

RECOMMENDATION: Never tried Umbro before, and I must say that they are a quite good pair of decent gloves, with good features and cosmentics. Would certainly try again for the price!

in truth, they do look pretty well constructed.
Just to follow up guys, been using them for the last 4-5 weeks since I last posted upon them. Used them for training sessions and for some matches, before I start my new brand. The latex is starting to flake a little on the fingers, thumb and bits on the palm, but only very minimal. The "whiteness" of the palm is over to a white/light brown color (has lost its glow!!).
But all in all, I think that they are a well made glove by Umbro, obviously not the BEST features, but they are a great glove. I think if anybody is thinking of Umbro gloves, they are well worth the money, they are well made gloves. I think that Umbro are a little under-rated in this department, but are worth a shot (in my opinion). Cheers
