Thanks for all your thoughts and feedback. I've decided to go without the extended palm on the updated version of the gloves. I think this provdes a better fitting, more secure feeling glove. They will be available in 2 weeks.
With regards to the comments on the surround cut style of glove. I personally think this provides a very comfortable style of glove. I understand though, that no 2 goalkeepers are the same. I am well through designing and testing the 2009/10 range of gloves and have taken your thoughts into consideration. I'm sure you will find that there is something for everybody.

The updated version of the glove is the same as the original with the following improvements
The logo is slightly larger, made from a softer rubber material that gives the glove a better feel. The wrist strap will be made from smooth embossed latex, providing more substantial wrist support. The palm and cut of the gloves are still the same.

Congrats with the new line, even though they're subtle changes, there's not much you can change with a good a glove as yours.
do you do wrist straps with personalisation? or will you be in the future?
Personalisation is currently not available, although this is something I will introduce during the season.

Just wanted to give "y'all" a brief update on the gloves since there has been an increasing interest for Kenny's gloves.
After playing in these gloves for about 15 - 18 matches and many practices/training sessions, there's only one thing I can say - they're amazing. I know, there's no difference in that comment compared to my initial review, but the longevity of the glove is just - amazing.
Although they have lost their their tackiness, they have not lost their grip in dry or wet conditions, and catching a ball proves to be no hassle (compared to my other gloves I've used this long). The gloves do show signs of aging, but nothing drastic - it's not effecting the performance of the gloves.
Once again, I can't recommend these gloves enough, they're a super steal for $40. I can't imagine what we'll see from the likes of Kenny and Glen.
