Should have had a negative cut thumb as well instead of this huge looking thumb. I don't know why so many companies produce a negative cut glove BUT always leave the thumb as a regular flat cut??? Tongue Tied. They obviously dont realise how big a difference this makes......

On the postive side looks a very well constructed glove Yes

I have had Pro-gk gloves Sepp and they are very well contructed and have great latex. Also the fit is spot and comfort is spot on.

Both the aesthetics and construction look superb.

A little over branded for my taste but a decent looking glove none the less

I agree about the overbranding.  I like two on the backhand (index and backhand), one on the palm.  I think that is enough.

Just spoken to Glen and i think they are gonna change it to a half wrap/half negative thumb.

Shame about the thumb, but these really do look good. Will be my first PRO GK glove I am sure!

Great News.....and also great to hear Glen is listening (thanks for pushing this also Mac). I really don't think this is just my opinion regarding the thumb....I think this generally makes a truer/better negative cut glove.

May have to try these when they are out now.....the fact the gloves are 3mm also attracts me to them but that is just my personal preference for a thinner palm Yes

Yeah i prefere 3mm as well.

I think they are definatly worth a punt if you like Negative cut gloves, especially for £28.

Ive always felt that a neg cut thumb would work on any glove no matter what the cut is. Just seems to work perfectly for me.

Does 3mm v 4mm make much difference in terms of shock absorbtion/preventing injury?

Silly question maybes but I have always worn 4mm, I tried the standard 3mm in these and

was very impressed, the backhand and general construction seemed to give decent absorbtion.

I think its more to do with ball and padding mate. But what you said does play a part imo.

Dida still needs a team! lol

Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!

Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.
