Haha, not many teams play in orange though. On a positive note, the four gloves are the beginning of the thread are great looking. Although the flat palm glove (the pro) is an exclusive; dont they normally have it in their range anyway???
D
Dida still needs a team! lol
Why be negative when you can be Positive? Beats me!
Keepers are criticised and praised, its the keepers choice to decide what to listen to.
Sells have had just the one flat palm model every season that i recall, and I think the latest one was part of the Evo range and had the surround cut?
Yes, you're right Paul. Maybe that's why it's exclusive then.
it has been a long time (too long) since brands have used different coloured palms in their range, (sondico's strongpoint in the 80s/90s Clemence Pro & Goram legend etc) however i think Sells have overdone it a tad going with the backhand the same colour. They are just too OTT in my opinion.
Its not where your from, its where your at!
love the england wrap, ill be getting a pair!
The Wrap Pro (Flat Palm) is not an exclusive to PDS, the Wrap Aqua Pro is available to all Sells stockists, there will also be a Wrap Pro Breeze and Wrap Pro SubZero all again in flat plam at £5 cheeper than the Wrap Roll styles.
I do quite like the Wrap England.

will these be stocked at great-save Martin? I do recall them being on your website, before being removed.
To be fair, Permagrip is an excellent training latex, & is better than most other companies' supersoft foam. If those colors were available worldwide, they'd sell no problem, although I agree they should have only colored the palm.
I think a common perception amongst goalkeepers is that alot of Sells gloves look similar and lack colour and uniqueness.
I like the fact that Sells and ProDirect are trying something different. I agree with Victor in that if the (excellent value for money) coloured Permagrips were available worldwide they would sell very well.
I loved my yellow and red palmed Uhlsports in the "olden days" and these do remind me of these. Perhaps a little less colour on the backhands would have looked better but I think these will sell well.
The power brokers at Sells are regular visitors on TGB so I am sure they will be reading our comments, feedback and thoughts with interest.
I agree, it would be nice for Sells to step into the US market (and others) where I'm sure they'd turn some heads in the shops. I'm sure people are bored of the norm (that being Nike, Adidas, and maybe, JUST MAYBE some Pumas and Reusch gloves). I seriously think these gloves would sell pretty well, especially among the youngsters.
I really like the yellow, green and blue. Good for sells and PDS for throwing some color, in an other wise colorless (for the most part) line.
I really like the yellow ones and too a slightly lesser extent the blue and orange. Green isn't my colour.
For those who haven't used Permagrip it is a very good latex for what it is meant for. That is, youth and recreational adult league keepers. The owner of one shop here in Canada has told me that he feels the Permagrip gloves are better than many of the "pro" gloves he stocks from other brands.
I like the look of the England & United Wraps too especially with the new H20 latex. My favourite in range so far is the Robusto Wrap Guard. I'll write a preview of the glove shortly as I've been using it a lot recently.
They sure will,
the Wrap Pro Range will be in store soon.
Was due for June looks like it will be Aug delivery into us.
I had to take them off as the deliverys from Sells have been so late, i did not want to put them on pre-order as let you guys down.
it has always annoyed me that many gloves don't make the stores in time for the beginning of the season. many keepers like to choose one model for whole season (some coaches i know recommend this too) and it is hard to do this when some models don't arrive until late aug / early sept.
Very ture Rich, as a retailer it is so fustrating too, all you want is every thing in stock for the start of June/Mid June, Nike Reusch, Selsport, Puma have there ranges in store which is great, i'm sure we will see some get some Sells one day soon
I have just had another training session in the Puma King XL, i still can not get over how good they are, the best £40 glove is have ever used.
