OK thanks guys...I'm interested because I've spent 30 years standing at the laundry sink washing my gloves with a soft toothbrush and now face the prospect of double the work if my son takes up the gloves in the next few years!

Now I'm going to try the washing machine option, starting tonight.

Cheers

Double the work??? Teach him and let him clean them!

Justin do you just throw your gloves in as is with the rest of your gear or put them in one of those bags to stop the velco attaching to everything else? Or do you wash them on their own?

I throw my gloves - also current match gloves - in with the rest of that day's kit but indeed in a "textile bag" to prevent the velcro sticking to socks and such...

I also use the regular detergent... Never had any problem... My match gloves always last me at least 15 games...
