Chris Kirkland was yesterday wearing Sells Surrounds. He has been with Adidas as long as I can remember, maybe they had enough of paying money and making smus for a injury proned player or he moved cause it is a better glove?
I believe he is one of the Share Holders in Sells which I recall reading about how Sells offer instead of endorsing players? I knew he was going to be in Sells this year so I must have been told before hand, but I can not for the life of me remember where I heard it now!
Was wearing the previous model of the Surrounds rather than the latest model. Still a fine choice though!
Last season's surrounds, he was wearing them in pre season, seems strange when this season model looks to be a far better glove.
Hope things come good for Kirkland and he stays injury free, I think he is great on his line as a shot stopper, but want to see him develop with crosses and work off his line. In terms of his performances he rarely lets anyone down
