Do professional goalkeepers use shorts with padding because my hips are bursed and I am wondering if there really good?

If you're experiencing brusing, buy padded shorts and look into padded undershorts. Some pros use it and some probably don't, buy what's necessary for you.

wearing padded undershorts (such as those made by uhlsport, reusch or mcdavid) can help prevent the bruising you get on your hips. when it's already there though, the only option is to let the bruise heal.

i've got a huge bruise on my hip at the moment from being fouled by a striker - caught me right on the bone above my padding and really hurts!

Check out these neoprene padded compression shorts. They will give your hips maximum protection:

I second that, these shorts are great. After a wash or two they lose thier stiffness which is a problem you get with neoprene undershorts.

I use these BTS undershorts and the Sells neoprene ones also. Both are brilliant.

I had the McDavid Hexpad shorts a few years ago and they also were brilliant but I found the little hex pads came loose and bunched up after a few months. Not really tried them since due to this so I can not say what the more recent ones are like.

I use the Sells undershorts and the Uhl ones also; a big consideration for me is the length, as I'm fairly tall and quite often the undershorts give you that extra length so you don't look like you've got on a skimpy pair of swimming briefs!!!

The other two things to consider about undershorts are; if the weather is foul-like north-west England in February!!!!, a long pair of shorts will stick to your legs and constrict your movement.Undershorts allow free movement, and also the Uhlsport and Sells ones I use will stop any bruises or Skid marks!!

Neville Southall said 'if you dive and land correctly you don't need any padding or long pants', thats something I've never been able to master and the topic for another entirely different post!
