Neville Southall, Everton, phoned to ask where the large bulk of goods were that he had ordered. I said that the only ones I knew about were sent to him by Line 7 rep Glenn Bullock about a week ago. He said that he had received these, but he had spent about 30 minutes talking to Glenn requesting other goods, along with many other items that he was waiting for from Germany. I said that I knew nothing about either discussion but would try and find something out although as Axel had left uhlsport the German end might be difficult. I would be seeing Glenn Bullock at the Sports Trade Exhibition on Sunday, and I asked him if at this late date he could attend and he said no as he had already made other plans. He also said that he was getting goods for the Everton reserve Mike Stowell as agreed. I said that I had been asked to contact Mike Stowell and had written to him on 10th June but had not received a reply. The goods Neville was looking for were 8 pairs cheap training gloves, 4 pairs white foam gloves, 544 XL jerseys, One piece suits wet and dry, Royal leisure suits, holdalls, padded shorts, leisurewear, shinguards without ankle pieces and visors (not the caps I had sent him).
Saw Line 7 at the Trade Show and discussed Neville Southall situation. It was agreed that I should send through Line 7 what I could and that I would order the rest from Germany.
