CHAPTER THIRTY SIX

20th December 1988 12.00

Reinhrad phoned me to ask about payment for Neville Southall. A payment is due on 1st January but he has no bank account details. I said that I would try to find out the details for him. The Nowich v West Ham game was televised on 27th December and Bryan Gunn the Norwich goalkeeper was wearing Reusch gloves and a Reusch jersey. I had not heard from him or his financial adviser but assume that he has decided to accept Reusch's offer rather than renew his uhlsport contract. He should not however wear a Reusch jersey so I wrote both to him and Scoreline pointing this out.

My reason for delaying was that I was seeing Reinhard next week and as Bryan Gunn was now signing for Reusch he may wish to use the money for Theo Snelders instead of Bryan Gunn.
