Alan Knight, Portsmouth, phoned to say that he had received the uhlsport catalogue and would like a 649 jersey Orange XL and 649 Turquoise XL. I said that I would try and get them for him.

Gerry Summers, Derby, phoned to get Line 7's phone number from me. Like last year he wanted to order shinpads from them but had lost their phone number. Peter Shilton had given him my number and I gave him Line 7's number.

I received back from Alan Main, Dundee United, the pair of 041 size 9.

Guido van den Kamp, Dundee United, phoned to order a whole range of goods and I told him that many of the items were not stocked in the U.K. but I would order for him from Germany. I asked him if he was under contract to uhlsport and he is not at the moment, but in previous years he has signed a contract in Holland every year. 1 pair 060 size 10.5, 1 only Cap, 1 only 012 Glove Bag were sent to him (No.7). He also required 1 only 543 Yellow XL, 1 only 5419 Leisure suit XL, 1 pair 569 Undershorts Large, 1 only 4016 Holdall.

John Burridge phoned to request some goods. He is currently at Falkirk but is looking to move to Derby as soon as they can get rid of Peter Shilton. 3 pairs 036 size 9.5, 1 pair 578 L, 1 only 544 Green XL were sent to him (No.13).

Bobby Geddes, Kilmarnock, phoned to request a pair of gloves for Jim Stewart, the goalkeeping coach at Kilmarnock. 1 pair 061 size 9.5 were sent to him (No.14).

Herve phoned to ask if I knew what time the award was being presented to Andy Rhodes at the Football Show in Birmingham tomorrow. I said that I did not know, although "Shoot" this week said Sunday afternoon, but once I had passed Herve's name and phone number on for Mark Irwin to contact direct, I had heard nothing further.

Dean Greygoose, Crewe, phoned to find out the chance of getting uhlsport gloves, he has previously used Sondico. I said that he could not have a contract but could buy at special prices and details would be sent to him.

Gerry Peyton, Everton, phoned for some goods and 3 pairs 061 size 10, 3 pairs 036 size 10, 2 pairs 578 XL, 1 only 544 Green XL, 1 only 655 Yellow XL, 1 only Cap were sent to him (No.15).

John Burridge phoned to say that he was now playing for Hibernian and 1 only 649 Blackberry XL, 1 pair 568 Large, 1 pair 376 socks were sent to him (No.16). He asked for an all Black jersey but I said that I could not do this but would try to find the nearest I could while avoiding Green. His wife Janet is now running a clearance business called Subs Bench, Tel: xx .

Terry Gennoe, Blackburn, phoned to request some gloves. The gloves he wanted, 031, are no longer made so an assortment of 1 pair 036 size 9, 1 pair 073 size 9, 1 pair 040 size 9 were sent to him (No.17).

Les Fridge, St.Mirren, phoned to order some goods and 1 pair 578 XL, 1 only 648 Green XL, 1 only 648 Lilac XL were sent to him (No.18).

David Spensley phoned to say that he had signed Gordon Marshall on goods only. Gordon has just been transferred from Falkirk to Celtic, but presumably as reserve to Pat Bonner. He asked for some gloves to be sent but did not know which style so I said I would send a selection. 1 pair 061 size 9.5, 1 pair 036 size 9.5, 1 pair 071 size 9.5, 1 pair 040 size 9.5 were sent to him (No.19). He also told me that he had not been able to contact David James of Watford, and I told him that it was my understanding that he had signed a gloves/boot contract with Puma in the last few days.

John Burridge phoned to say that he had received the goods and did not like the 649 jersey. I told him that it was the best I could do from my stock. He then asked for various other jerseys he had received in the past and I had to tell him that all those were now discontinued.

Mr.Bouska phoned on behalf of Pavel Srnicek, Newcastle, to ask for knee pads, elbow pads and a training suit without a zip in the jacket. I said that for all of these items I would have to check with Germany as they were not satocked in the U.K., although I did have 2 pairs of 638 Elbow pads Large and they were sent to him (No.20).

David Spensley phoned to ask me to send to Lawrence Batty of Woking 1 pair 036 size 9.5, 2 pairs 040 size 9.5 and they were sent to him (No.21) at his home address xxx . Apparently Woking are being featured by the B.B.C. in their F.A.Cup programmes until they get knocked out, and that is why the goods are being given. He said that he would sort out some jerseys for him.
